Taylor Campbell

Taylor leads the Open Climate Data Project at Creative Commons, which provides practical guidance to agencies like the World Meteorological Organization, NASA, and NOAA for open licensing and attribution of climate data worldwide. She also leads the Openly Licensing Life Sciences Preprints Project, advocating for the expansion of openly-licensed research preprints and open access to science. She joins us from prior work with with the Bezos Earth Fund, Georgetown University, the City of Los Angeles, the Obama White House, and the Black Lives Matter Global Network. She enjoys designing programmatic solutions and workflows for public impact, facilitating dialogue across diverse communities and institutions of power, gardening, and thrifting.
