Campaigns Manager (she/her)

As CC’s Campaigns Manager, Ony produced and distributed marketing and communication materials to expand CC’s reach, impact, influence and size of its community. Ony left CC in 2023 to move to an organization working on a wider array of programs focused on good works.

Ony is a huge advocate of mission-driven communications, and before joining Creative Commons, she worked in several communications and advocacy roles with non-profit and social impact organizations internationally. Ony is passionate about a number of social issues and is involved in various charitable causes — she is particularly passionate about gender equity, digital rights, climate action, diversity & inclusion and mental health.

Originally from the UK, Ony relocated to Canada in 2019 and now calls St. John’s, Newfoundland, home.
